Spiritual Care

at the Hummingbird Center and via tele-chaplaincy

What is spiritual care? Suzanne Richman provides interfaith spiritual care, a practice rooted in compassionate presence and deep listening. Spiritual caregiving helps folks in difficult life passages ease suffering. Such care provides a safe space for people to explore their life story, hear their inner voice, and reclaim wisdom while navigating change. In life transitions, such as when facing illness, grieving, or approaching death, as well as when dealing with distress, spiritual care helps people discover greater meaning, resilience, and dignity.

About Suzanne: I am a retired college educator, program designer/consultant, and community/hospice chaplain. Previously I was program director of the Health Arts and Science Program at Goddard College. Before that I was a community and international health worker. My ongoing practice as a spiritual caregiver/chaplain gives me a channel in which to serve my community and support individual clients, families and groups.

Bookings: Visits are available by phone, video call, and in person. Sliding scale fees.
